Setting Up Product Availability
To begin with, navigate to the Product Availability page. Here, you'll see two primary options: Saison et Exceptions.
What is a season and an exception?
A Season is a weekly schedule that replicates continuously. This could be a recurring availability pattern that lasts throughout the year.
An Exception acts as an override to your season. It can be used for specific exceptions or changes to the normal schedule.
Creating a Season
To create a season, choose a start date for the schedule. This can either be a specific date, or it can start 'now', i.e., from the current date. You can set an end date for the season or leave it open to continue indefinitely.
For instance, you might want to add time slots at 10 AM and 2 PM each for 10 people. After entering these details, you might realize that you're not typically busy on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday mornings. You can remove these days from your schedule. What you're left with is a weekly schedule that repeats indefinitely.
Cloning a Season
When you need to create a similar schedule for a different time, for example, a busier summer season, you can clone or duplicate the existing season. This feature allows you to duplicate the season, negating the need to go through the process of adding the times again.
After cloning the season, all you need to do is adjust the days of the week and opening times based on your new preferences.
Creating an Exception
Now, let's consider you want to close for a few days, say for Christmas. This is where the Variation feature comes in.
To create a variation, select the dates for which you want to change the schedule.
For example, we want to be closed on the 25th and 26th of December. Uncheck the option to "clone the times" to start with a blank schedule for these dates. If you want to change the timings for specific days without affecting the rest of the schedule, you can clone the times and then modify them as needed. For instance, you might decide to start at 11 AM and remove the 2 PM slot for a particular date.
Modifying Availability
Once you've set up your seasons and variations, you can navigate to the Availability page to view your schedules.
Dashboard
See left sidebar and Click on Availability
On this page, you can see your weekly schedule as well as any variations you've set up. For example, you can view your summer season schedule, your regular season, and observe any days you've set to be closed.
Make quick and direct changes
In case you want to make quick changes without creating a new variation each time, you can directly edit an event. This allows you to change or remove times for specific dates.
